The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation is the largest private financier of research in Sweden and also one of Europe’s largest. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote scientific research, teaching and education beneficial to the Kingdom of Sweden.
The Foundation grants funding in the following areas; research projects of high scientific potential, infrastructure of national importance and individual support of excellent scientists. The Foundation also initiates strategic projects and scholarship programs.
