Trees that until now have become paper and wood should soon also be used for clothing, windows and fuel for cars, boats, and aircrafts. The goal is to replace plastic and fossil fuels.
Transparent wood can one day become entire glass facades – acting as radiators, which store the heat of the day to set it free at night.
For that much more wood is needed. And in order to have a sufficient supply of wood, scientists must ensure that the forests grow faster and are capable of doing so in a future changing climate. Join the researchers who will make it possible!
