Every year, about 4,000 people in Sweden receive the news that they have blood cancer, or leukemia. Richard Rosenquist Brandell is a professor and physician, conducting research on chronic lymphocytic leukemia, CLL, the most common form in adults. He wants to understand which patients this cancer becomes life-threatening for and in the future, also wants each cancer patient to be able to receive more precise treatment than what is available today.
